- Not correctly proportioned

Gall–Peters projection

- Projection was made by James Gall and Arno Peter

- was made in 1855 and published in 1885

- a pamphlet was made by the American Cartographic Association in 1986.

- It was featured in a show called west wing

- Got pretty famous in the 20th century

PROS

- Slightly more accurate

- it can make other countries "feel better" like Australia

CONS

- Its still not as accurate as a globe
