Map Map Map Map

Today we learned about this thing called Peters map. A lot of people in my class including myself said the peters map was wrong but its actually better than the original map. Apparently, Peters map is way more accurate than the original map we all know and love. This map was made by James Gall and Arno Peter in 1885. Peters brought the projection to a wider audience beginning in the early 1970s by means of the "Peters World Map". We also learned about a formula to make maps the formula is really weird. We also learned that a globe is the most accurate form of a map overall. We watched a video clip from the show of West Wing it wasn't the best clip but i mean a video in class am I right.  So when in doubt use a globe above any map.
