Draco n' stuff

Today we talked about diffrent terms and rulers of Greece in preparation for the 100 point test we are having on Thursday. There were 4 rulers of Athens we talked about today; Draco (621 BC), Solon (594 BC), Isagoras (508ish BC), then finally Cleisthenes (Again 508ish BC). I am just gonna talk about them in order. Draco, he is kinda a meanie, he makes it so that all Athenians are equal, but most punishments for crimes are death. Solon, outlaws debt slavery and all Athenians can now speak at assemblies. Isagoras, he won the election and was kinda a jerk so for the first time in history people rebelled and ostracized him and put Cleisthenes in power. Cleisthenes made the council of 500 and allowed all Athenian citizens (citizen being a land-owning male, so no women, slaves, foreigner) to submit laws.
