Socrates, Plato and Aristotle
Socrates was the first of the three great philosophers of the Greek time period. His name in Greek is Σωκρᾰ́της. He tried to teach the youth of Athens to think for themselves, but he was then convicted and put to death. His student Plato went on to write a book about philosophy and in that book called the Republic, he also wrote about experiences with Socrates, the most famous being The Allegory of the Cave. And Plato taught the last famous philosopher, Aristotle, Aristotle taught Alexander the Great, until his father requested for Alexander to come back to Macedonia.
