Phillip II, Alexander the Great, and Darius III n' stuff
Philip II was the King of Macedonia from 359 BC to when he was assassinated in 336 BC, Phillip was part of the Argead dynasty, after defeating the Greek city-states Athens and Thebes, he became the Commander-in-chief of the Hellenic League, for a planned invasion of Persia. But he was then assassinated by his royal bodyguard, leading to the immediate succession of his son Alexander.
Alexander was born in Pella 356 BC, during his youth Alexander was tutored until the age of 16, by the age of 20 Alexanders father Philip II was assassinated, which meant he had to take up the throne, he immediately took after his father invading Persia and in 334 BC he went on a series of campaigns that lasted 10 years. He had one of the biggest empires in history and was very fond of the idea of cultural diffusion. He died in 323 BC in Babylon.
Darius III was the king of Persia from 336 BC to 330 BC, he was in the Achaemenid Dynasty. The Persian empire by that point was incredibly unstable. And with Alexander the Great coming to kill him, but before that happened Darius was killed by his cousin Saptrap.
