So today we had a Geography test and it was about north and south America. We had to name all the countries on that quiz. We also talked about times zones, and how we can and cannot have just one giant time zone.  

Time Zone: Is a region of the globe that observes a uniform standard time of legal, commercial, ad social purpose 

There are exactly 24 time zones in the world and those times zones are completely messed up due to things like "Country Borders". And most time zones go by hours, so each time zone is an hour apart, some of the other time zones have buffers so it's not a solid hour difference. So, places like Australia that have small buffers to make its citizens completely thrown off by a time change. And Greenland which spans over 5 time zones is only one because it can be.
