Punic wars N' stuff

The punic wars are the three wars between Carthage and Rome these wars range between 264 BCE through 146 BCE. The first Punic war was between 264 - 241 BCE, and it was for control of the island of Sicily, Rome comes out as the victor. The second Punic war 218 - 201 BCE, Hannibal a Carthaginian general, tries to take Rome by attacking from the north, having to cross through Iberia and the Alps, even though all his effort, he is unsuccessful in his endeavour. The third Punic war 149-146 BCE, Rome wants to eliminate the threat of Carthage, they went to burn Carthage, Carthage burned for 17 days, and the remaining 50,000 people were sold into slavery.
