Poetry n' Stuff
I decided to translate this into Shakespearian original poem is farther down
From chaos cameth gaia, the lady did produce lighteth h'rself,
prim'rdials w're did create next. Uranos wast wedd'd with
gaia, those gents did create the titans. Then kronos and rhea
hadst children, six jump. But kronos wast fearful, so
that gent consum'd his children, but rhea did save zeus.
zeus wast hath raised by a goat nam'd amaltheia, going
on to dissemble kronos, by giving that gent a mixture of wine
and mustard. The titan did throw up all of the gods, those gents
being imm'rtal hath grown up undigest'd in his stomach.
zeus then did banish kronos to tartarus. Zeus wast
then nam'd the leadeth'r of the gods
OG Version:
From chaos came Gaia, she produced light herself,
primordials were created next. Uranos was wedded with
Gaia, they created the titans. Then Kronos and Rhea
had Children, six exactly. But Kronos was fearful, so
he consumed his children, but Rhea saved Zeus.
Zeus was raised by a goat named Amaltheia, going
on to trick Kronos, by giving him a mixture of wine
and mustard. The Titan threw up all of the Gods, they
being immortal grew up undigested in his stomach.

Dan, you took a most original approach to this assignment. Interesting, to say the least. Well done!
